I love caring for children. I believe that small children are blessings that God sent our way to remind us of his love and I feel very fortunate to be a part of some of the most important years of their lives. Being a daycare provider can be very challenging. Each child is different and unique; and as a professional I have to make sure everyone has my attention and love. Each day is an opportunity to teach and to learn. Each of us has a unique strength we can offer someone else and needs we can improve by learning from others. I feel honored in being a part of the team that guides your child to happiness and success.

Even though I am not the primary caregiver; I feel that it is in my hands to teach them to be humble, have good manners, show kindness, share, be respectful, empathetic, patient and tolerant to each and every person they come across. I teach them basics such as letters, colors, shapes, numbers, etc. as well as learning to enjoy and appreciate music, dance and art; without, letting them forget that at their ages it is important to play and discover the world around them.

My profession is more than just a job, it is mission of love. It is impossible to be a good caregiver without getting emotionally involved with each child. After all these years I’d say that I’ve been through many painful moments watching my children grow up and move onto a formal school but I’ve also had many great memories that have put a smile on my face and made me feel fortunate to have had each of them to begin with. As a mother of two, I know how difficult it can be to leave the most precious person in the world in the hands of a stranger. All I can say is that I will do my best to provide your child with the same love and care I have for my own and give them a respectful, safe and loving second home where he or she can flourish.

I am lucky to have had such wonderful families and amazing children where even after all these years we still share a special bond and are still in touch, making this profession even more so rewarding.
